“You have to go in order to know.” This is something I believe very strongly in. How can someone recommend a destination or resort if he or she has never visited it and immersed him/herself in the culture?
I have personally visited Cancun/Riviera Maya & Cabo San Lucas areas almost 40 times. In addition, I have hopped a plane to the Hawaiian Islands 11 times. Jamaica is also close to my heart, and I have been to the land of “no worries, mon” a half dozen times. Cruises? I’ve been on over a dozen of these floating resorts to areas such as Canada, New England and the Caribbean.
I get “out there”; I meet the resort staff including wedding coordinators and tour the resorts, all in an effort to grow my network & be able to be more educated about the best experiences to recommend for my clients.
Alas, my family & friends think that all I do is have this fabulous life of never-ending travel, and I can see why they say that! It’s important to me to know who is getting my business. Keeping up with the new properties entering the ever changing market & checking out refurbishments is so important. These companies I work with are my business partners and in this industry, it’s ALL about relationships. I must understand what they offer, inside and out and get to know the staff. They simply must meet my standards first before I will send my clients there.
Why Work With Me
Some might say I am too picky or obsessed with details. I think this is a very good thing when it comes to my line of work! When you work with me, I’m your advocate, prior, during and post-travel. I want you to make memories, relax and enjoy your time together and not stress over the details. Leave that to me.
It’s also important to know that I’m about to embark on my 7th year as a full-time travel professional. I’m fully committed to my clients and do this all day, every day. This is my full-time job and not a hobby business or “side hustle”. I’ve spent countless hours on educating myself about the destinations I specialize in by attending industry conferences, participating in webinars, touring resorts and meeting with key staff, and even staying at properties to personally experience them so I can feel confident recommending the right ones to my clients.
When it comes to Destination Weddings at all-inclusive resorts, I work with EVERYONE. If you’re in love and want to make it official with a legal (or symbolic) ceremony in a beautiful destination like Mexico that will welcome you with open arms and be honored to host your affair, then please consider working with me. I can help you wade through all the craziness you might find online. I’m committed to diversity and inclusion, and am proud to serve the LGBTQ community. Most importantly, I’ll be your advocate throughout the process to ensure your day goes perfectly.
I also enjoy working with couples with soon-to-be blended families who want their new family to be immersed in their parents’ destination wedding experience. Having a blended family myself since 2007, I know which resorts to recommend that will ensure your children will have as much fun as you and your significant other!
So as you can see, I don’t just work with couples to create their travel dreams come true, but families as well. Let’s not forget about friends’ getaways, including bachelor and bachelorette parties! Some resorts have it all under one roof; quiet, romantic space to spend with that special someone, as well as a completely different vibrant & fun vibe that you’ll never even know about unless you venture to the “party” side of the resort!)

How I Got Started in Romance Travel
Prior to working as a full-time travel agent beginning in 2012, I worked in television & radio for 23 years, most of it spent helping other businesses grow by asking questions & listening intently so I could understand their needs in order to recommend the best course of action to reach their goals.
This is why I believe transitioning into the travel industry was such a natural progression for me: it married my love of helping people find the best fit for their needs with my passion for travel, and it has been “happily ever after” for me and my new career choice ever since!
